Tunnels & Trolls / Schwerter und Daemonen

A traditional fantasy game¸ similar to but simpler thanD&D. It uses only six-sided dice¸ where combat has each side rolls their dice and totals them up. The side with the highest total wins the round. The difference in the rolls is then divided up among the losing side as damage. The 7th edition¸ published through Fiery Dragon Productions¸ saw a number of changes¸ including a new attribute for Wizardry¸ and determining character level based on the highest of a character's class attributes. The 7.5th edition added a solo adventure¸ GM adventure¸ spellbook¸ and monster compendium to the core book. - A description from https://darkshire.net/jhkim/rpg/encyclopedia/ with kind permission of John H. First published in 1975¸ at the dawn of role-playing games¸ the original Tunnels & Trolls offered players simple and easy rules to become true heroes. Players created characters to go out to fight monsters¸ undertake missions¸ and explore the unknown. Ken St. Andre¸ Liz Danforth¸ and James "Bear" Peters have collaborated to reexamine every element of the game before rewriting the new edition from top to bottom. The rules contain everything you need to play as a hero or as a GM. Create your own adventures or explore Trollworld¸ never before described in such detail. Trollworld is the brainchild of Ken St. Andre¸ part of which was explored by early gamers¸ including Liz and Peters¸ who share their own cities for the first time.
