Coming Down the Mountain



Samurai¸ it is a simple task. Escort a venerable herrmit priest from his barren shrine on the mountain top to a luxurious new position of honor in the daimyo's court. But what if the priest doesn't want to go¸ and the spirits of the mountain will fight to defend him? What will you do when your honor and duty conflict with "doing the right thing"? And will you survive the conflict?

The Tunnels and Trolls rules can be used in virtually any setting. This example shows them being used to tell a little story set in Heroic Japan.
