Warhammer 40.000

The first version of Warhammer 40¸000 was written by Rick Priestley and was published by Games Workshop in 1987 under the title "Warhammer 40¸000¸ Rogue Trader." This system swept through gaming circles and gave us the first look at the rich history and exciting background of the 40K world. The game system mechanics have undergone many changes over the years (anyone remember "turn radius ratio" or "targetting templates"?). In the current version of the rules¸ Rick Priestley and co-author Andy Chambers have taken their years of playtesting¸ rules experimentation¸ and fans" suggestions and put them together to create a quick and easy-playing (but most of all¸ FUN) game system. BFG's rules are fairly simple¸ and easily grasped after one or two hour-and-a-half cruiser duels.
