Across the realm of man¸ the fires of Chaos burn high. At the heart of each new disaster and raging conflict¸ the hordes of the Ruinous Powers thrive in anarchy and revel in spilt blood. Traitorous Legionaries from the prehistory of the Imperium march alongside renegade Space Marines and Daemon hosts from the nightmare dimension of the warp.
These are the lost and the damned¸ the fiendish souls that have sold their humanity in exchange for power - or who were never human in the first place. At their head are tyrannical warlords hell-bent on tearing down the Imperium of Mankind¸ malevolent psykers and towering Greater Daemons that seek to conquer reality itself. All must fear the onslaught of Chaos¸ for it is death and destruction incarnate.
