Für viele von uns war Star Wars ein Teil der Jugend. Man schaute sich die Filme zig mal im Kino oder auf dem heimischen TV an¸ sammelte und spielte mit den Figuren und Plastikraumschiffen - und auch heute noch (oder wieder) erzielen die einstmals heißgeliebten Spielzeuge und Filme dank THX wieder Höchstpreise. Was liegt da näher als ein zünftiges Rollenspielsystem¸ das in den von Lucasfilm geschaffenen Weiten spielt ? Als Spielsystem wurde das W6-System genutzt¸ was man auch solo als Universalsystem erwerben kann. Die Regeln sind recht angenehm und nutzen asuschließlich den sechsseitigen Würfel. [Dogio]

Simple and clean mechanics¸ plus good ideas on to perform this type of gaming for people inexperienced with role-playing in general. Lots of support material is available from the publisher¸ including a quarterly book-format magazine¸ The Star Wars Adventure Journal. The game is even recommended as reference material for prospective authors of the novels by LucasFilm. Probably the best overall "first game" for people trying out the RPG hobby for the first time.
