EINE KURZE GESCHICHTE DES KNIGHTS OF THE DINNER TABLE Magazins

Das Magazin "Knights of the Dinner Table" entstand 1990 eher zufällig¸ als Lückenfüller für Jolly R. Blackburns kleines Verlagsmagazin "Shadis". Es war so eine Art kreativer Einfall¸ und Jolly dachte nicht weiter darüber nach. Vielleicht war er deshalb genauso überrascht wie alle anderen¸ dass KODT bald alles andere¸ was er je gemacht hatte¸ in den Schatten stellte und dass das Geschaffene nun den Schöpfer kontrollierte. Zum Glück ist das Schreiben und Zeichnen von KODT-Comics nicht mehr so ??einsam wie früher. Hunderte von Fans haben über die Jahre zu diesem Projekt beigetragen¸ und seitdem sie sich Kenzer & Co. angeschlossen und das KODT-Entwicklungsteam gegründet haben¸ haben die Knights alles übertroffen¸ was wir uns je hätten vorstellen können. Es war eine aufregende Reise¸ und wir sind gespannt¸ wohin die Truppe uns als Nächstes führen wird.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF KNIGHTS OF THE DINNER TABLE Magazine

Knights of the Dinner Table magazine was accidentally created by Jolly R. Blackburn way back in 1990 as 'filler' for his small press magazine¸ Shadis. It was something of a 'creative burp' and Jolly really didn't give it much thought. Perhaps that's why he was just as surprised as anyone that soon KODT was overshadowing everything else he'd ever done and that the created was now controlling the creator. Fortunately¸ writing and drawing KODT strips isn't the lonely job it was in the past. Hundreds of fans have contributed to the beast over the years and since joining the ranks of Kenzer and Company and the formation of the KODT Development Team¸ the Knights have gone far beyond anything we ever imagined. It's been a wild ride and we look forward to seeing where the gang takes us next.
