"Expanded Mood Elements" introduces 81 new mood elements that may breathe life into the desolate fields¸ dense woods¸ crumbling cities¸ and abandoned roads of Twilight: 2000. The mood elements may be simple outlines of the landscape¸ fuel to imagination or potential plot points and narrative hooks. From the eerie silence of a mass grave in the woods to the charred remnants of a convoy on a lonely road¸ these elements can prompt your ongoing plot and inspire your storytelling.

The mood elements are divided into four D20 lists (+1)¸ each dedicated to a specific type of environment: Fields¸ Woods¸ Cities¸ and Roads. This categorization expands the core books three categories with a dedicated category for traversing cities. Whether you're leading your group through an abandoned city or navigating the dangers of a toxic field¸ these lists may provide you with additional tools to create an engaging atmosphere.
