No GM's Sky
NGS is an adventure setting for Trav/Cepheus Engine¸ but it should be easy to adapt to other sci-fi rule systems as well. The rules presented here are a solo or GM-less framework for telling a story of exploration¸ discovery¸ mysteries¸ and survival. It kind of plays like Oregon Trail (if it was an RPG set in space.) You have a crew¸ equipments¸ specialists¸ and a mission.
The PDF includes info on setting up your ship¸ selecting a mission¸ tips on solo play¸ a large 'encounter table' of pregenerated star system¸ and rosters for all the crew (pilot¸ navigator¸ engineer¸ and gunner) and a large list of patrons and mission specialists¸ as well as four subsector maps for your exploration enjoyment.
No GM's Sky is not a complete game but is intend to help solo gamers (or a GM-less group) with a setting and system for adventure and discovery.
