101 Travellers
101 Travellers is the quick way for a Traveller referee to answer their players' question "Who wants to take passage on our ship?" Otherwise¸ passengers hand over the ticket¸ step aboard¸ their luggage is stored in the hold¸ and a week goes by as the merchant ship carries them to the next planet¸ while the adventurers conveniently forget about them.
But who are these travellers? Hijackers or Smugglers? Should the crew be watching their every move? Or is one of the passengers a customs inspector watching the crew's every move? And what are they carrying with them? Stolen state secrets or just clean underwear?
Included are:
- 101 Travellers to bewilder¸ threaten and charm the adventurers (divided up by group size and passage type)
- Player Descriptions provide a first introduction to the players
- Character Backgrounds may include less obvious details¸ including attributes and skills*
- Play Options indicate whether the passenger is going to be a pleasant¸ quiet individual or a psychotic hijacker
101 Travellers can be used as a standalone supplement¸ or combined with 101 Cargos to ensure that shipping people and stuff between Traveller worlds will never be dull again!
*Note: The skills were defined in the early days of Marc Miller's Traveller ("T4"); some skill names have changed and the skill levels may need to be reduced in a few instances to fit with other rule sets.
For those who buy Mongoose Publishing products¸ you may be interested to know that 101 Travellers is included in the content of their Supplement 13: Starport Encounters (but we'd be very happy if you chose to buy our original version!)
