Covering the eastern Martian desert and caravans which traverse it¸ Caravans includes a Space: 1889 adventure dealing with a delicate diplomatic mission to a remote desert city-state. Includes art by Tim Bradstreet. This edition contains all of the material from the original 'Game Designers' Workshop (GDW) publication.


Steppelords of Mars grants about 11 pages to detail the Steppe Martians of Nepenethes-Thoth¸ enough detail for rounding out NPCs and PCs. The rest degrades into a stilted adventure that needs a lot of tweaking to appeal to modern-day role-players. Still it has it moments.
Caravans of Mars is similar¸ giving some detailed information on the Eastern desert of the Aetheri/Elysium wastes and introduces several NPCs and the Shaman profession (about 4 1/2 ¸ 4 & 4 pages respectively). The rest is an adventure with the characters travelling by caravan across the Eastern Desert.
