Engine of Destruction Abel Shepherd joined the army to escape a troubled childhood. During combat¸ he was wounded and found a vine-covered temple to hole up in. Touching the wrong gem¸ he was trapped inside. Meanwhile 50 years passed. Transformed by the magical cocoon¸ Abel had become an engine of destruction. He emerged as Impact (PL 12)¸ and is now compelled to seek out those who had wronged him in life and vent his wrath upon them. Super Powered Legends.
