What leads a disproportionate number of individuals with powers to pursue a life of crime¸ mischief¸ and mayhem? Does the adage regarding absolute power corrupting absolutely apply? One only need study the individual members of the New Breed villain group to realize the answer isn't simple or straightforward. Each New Breed villain has their own reasons for committing crimes and separating themselves from lawful society. Some commit crimes out of greed or out of a desire to experiment with their powers.
