Rolemaster Fanzine 39
Welcome to issue 39 of the RolemasterBlog Fanzine.
GenCon is going to be a Virtual GenCon this year. That is better than cancelled¸ but I still think that it is a real shame that the Con could not go ahead. These are the times we live in¸ and we have to make the best of them as we can.
The most positive is that a version of RMu will be there to be played. Soon I will be able to drop the small 'u' and what we will have is RM¸ the one system to rule them all.
I hope that everyone reading this knows that the ICE forums are back online¸ with virtually no loss of data!
Adventures! In this issue are two 'sort of' adventures. I blogged about this at the beginning of the month. Urban adventures are hard. Both the adventures I have written this month are more like subplots you can drop on to a town or city¸ and they could rumble on for a while mostly unnoticed. I wanted them to be aimed at low-level parties but the big bad in one of them is 20th level. It is not intended that the characters fight it¸ but then¸ sometimes hard lessons need to be learned.
The second adventure is inspired by the 1950s Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The foes for this adventure are 6th level and are intended to be met singly. This adventure could be for starting characters. Run them both at the same time and you are going really mess up a town!
These adventures were 'requested'. If there is anything you want to see in the fanzine¸ please ask.
Arms LawThis issue has an article by Alfred Reibenschuh on the evolution of Arms Law¸ to coincide with the 40th Anniversary. Alfred gives you a welcome break from my normal drivelling!
