Rolemaster Fanzine 25
Welcome to Issue 25 of the Rolemaster Fanzine.
This month is Issue 25 and the first issue of our third year. The adventure presented in this issue was first published on the blog In January this year. This means that we are nearly caught up and in future instalments you will be getting genuinely new content. Not that these adventuers so far have been reprints. When I write on the blog I tend to just spew out ideas with no preparation or planning. By the time those ideas reach the fanzine I have had time to think about them more and develop the ideas. It was in A Murder of Crows that I had the first idea about the demon war.
Something else that is developing is the setting for all these adventures.
Everything we have had so far has had a slightly southern Asian feel¸ particularly the jungles and river boats. The NPCs have Asian or oriental names.
This was not intentional when I started out writing these adventures but I really like it. It gives a very different vibe to the typical medieval Europe setting of most fantasy games. If you are using the fanzine and these adventures to introduce your players to RMu then I really hope that they are also enjoying the different setting as much as the new ruleset.
