Exalted hat zwar Querverbindungen zur World of Darkness¸ muß jedoch eher als Anime-Fantasy-Setting bezeichnet werden - wobei das Anime vorwiegend von den verwendeten Zeichnungen kommt. Das Spielsystem (logisch: Storyteller) gleicht zwar den anderen erfolgreichen RPG¸ aber eine Kompatibilität der Spielwelt (Stichwort Crossover) sucht man vergeblich. Und gerade die Eignung zum Crossover brachte in der Vergangenheit den Erfolg (siehe Gespann Vampire-Werwolf-Magus). Dem SciFi-'Ausreisser' Trinity war dagegen kein allzu großer Erfolg vergönnt¸ ebensowenig den Exoten Wechselbalg und Wraith (dt. Geister)¸ die bereits komplett eingestellt wurden. Warten wir es ab¸ was die Fans sagen!
