This demo booklet presents to you our card-driven CARTOMANCY RPG¸
We have NOT been able to make a 92-page rulebook fit into a 20-page demo booklet¸ so a lot of things are missing. Things like Magic¸ Psionic¸ Mutations¸ Experience¸ full combat details etc. However¸ with that you will have enough to taste the system. This booklet will give you a clearer and more detailed view on:
- the character creation: suits¸ behavior¸ confidence & efforts
- the oracle system: scenes resolutions¸ from the suits chosen and the group's Fate drawn by the GM to players' individual outcome cards drawn to change the story the way they want to
- characters' resources management and strategies: setting your behavior mode¸ spending confidence & efforts chips and regaining them back
- combat & critters management
The only thing you will need is a simple deck of standard cards¸ a handful of poker chips or coins and a few friends.
Yes it's THAT simple¸ you could be roleplaying in ten real human minutes from now!
