A One-Shot Horror Survival scenario for Call of Cthulhu 7th edition¸ created by author Marcus Katz as part of the Story-Telling Collective "Write Your First Adventure (Call of Cthulhu Path)” Summer 2021.
Discover an alien landscape in the very core of madness itself as your investigators tread the Staircase and attempt to confound its mystery.
This scenario includes themes of horror¸ survival¸ insanity and threat.
The Staircase is provided with ideas for inserting into a campaign or as a stand-alone adventure¸ with optional guidelines for playing as a solo player.
Marcus Katz is the author of Tarosophy¸ Secrets of the Waite-Smith Tarot (with co-author Tali Goodwin) and over 50 books on divination and the Western Esoteric Initiatory System¸ including the award-winning Around the Tarot in Seventy-Eight Days.
He has played¸ collected and enjoyed TTRPG's since the mid-80's and this is his first published scenario.
