Something is wrong in Arkham. For several weeks now¸ the sleepy Massachusetts town has been troubled by a vermin epidemic. Thousands of rats have come out of the walls to take to the streets with a ravenous hunger for anything they can sink their teeth into. If there is something causing the rodents to run rampant around the town¸ then it will be up to the investigators to solve it!
This short 14 page scenario will push the investigators to take to the rat covered streets of Arkham in order to stop the outbreak getting any worse. In the process¸ they'll discover its sinister source¸ tracing back to the ancient past.
Players may begin from one of two possible start points as either researchers working for Miskatonic University looking for a rational explanation for the epidemic¸ or working for a vermin removal agency who will soon get more than they bargained for as they try their best to clean up the city. A new investigator occupation of Exterminator has been included for players who would like to use this second option.
Infestation contains mature themes and is intended for mature players.
