Great Old Ones of Porphyra
The Stars are right... here is... Great Old Ones of Porphyra !
The Great Old Ones are not of Porphyra¸ for they are alien entities From Beyond¸ originating in a dimension unknown to thinking beings. According to the Elemental Lords the Great Old Ones appeared in an invasion more than 3000 years ago. The Old Ones claim that this world originally belonged to them and say that the Elemental Lords were the slaves of the Old Ones¸ slaves who wrongly rebelled and brought about a stunted world¸ a world where dull matter inhibits free will. The ability of the Great Old Ones to manifest themselves has been changed by history. They have very little power over the elements¸ for those powers were taken by the Elemental Lords. These and other¸ subtler changes exist¸ and expecting Cthulhu on Porphyra to be exactly like Cthulhu on nearby realities can be a fatal mistake. Reality never lies¸ but mankind is not ready for the truths it can reveal.
A new Purple Duck Games book of religions by Carl Cramer for the Porphyra Roleplaying Game ¸ Great Old Ones of Porphyra contains:

Two new human races from Porphyra's mysterious north¸ the primitive Sikayans and the urbane Kayanoi¸ rooted in the history of the Great Old Ones. Ten spells with the mythos descriptor to shake your perception of reality.
