What would you do if your friend or colleague disappeared into the countryside¸ would you visit if you were concerned about them? Yes and a group of investigators do just that and arrive to find trouble of the clawing and chittering variety.
Following the events after a marine scientist learns about a technique to create new creatures¸ he settles into the countryside property. That is after learning about occult rituals to combine the essence of different creatures from a shady man with links to the deep one hybrid community.
Can the investigators overcome the new creations and stop their friend's interest in this dangerous maddening topic? Or will he and/or the investigators get killed or worse in the process?
Designed as an easy to follow linear adventure¸ this 2-3hr module is designed for 1-5 investigators. With a simple storyline and a question of morality at stake this is perfect for a new or existing role-playing group or introducing people to Call of Cthulhu.
