Warpstar orientiert sich am Spielstil seiner berühmten Vorgänger¸ präsentiert sich aber in einer leichten¸ schnellen und unkomplizierten Art und Weise - mit einem konsistenten Regelwerk¸ das sich nach Belieben anpassen und erweitern lässt.

Warpstar ist ein Tabletop-Rollenspiel¸ das mit Stiften¸ Papier und Würfeln gespielt wird. Die Handlung spielt im Chor der Millionen Welten - einem riesigen Sternenimperium¸ das sich über die gesamte Galaxie erstreckt. Die Spieler steuern Charaktere¸ die in einem wundersamen Schmelztiegel aus Aliens und Robotern ums Überleben kämpfen. Welten und Fraktionen. Thematisch gesehen ist Warpstar ein Science-Fiction-Spiel voller gefährlicher Abenteuer. Warpstar enthält jedoch nicht viele explizite Hintergrundinformationen¸ sodass du es mit deinen bevorzugten veröffentlichten oder selbst erstellten Abenteuern und Settings verwenden kannst. Stattdessen bietet Warpstar dir ein einfaches und prägnantes Regelwerk¸ das du nach Bedarf anpassen kannst.

Warpstar verwendet dieselbe Spiel-Engine wie Warlock!¸ angepasst für Science-Fiction-Spiele.

Hinweis: Das Buch ist schwarz-weiß mit wenigen Farbtupfern. Für die Druckversion wurde jedoch die Premium-Farboption gewählt¸ da sie eine deutlich höhere Papierqualität und eine verbesserte Optik und Haptik bietet.

Warpstar looks to reproduce the play style of its illustrious predecessors but in a light¸ quick and simple manner¸ with a consistent set of rules that are easily 'hackable' and adaptable as desired.

Warpstar is a tabletop roleplaying game¸ played with pencils¸ paper and dice. The implied setting is the Chorus of a million worlds¸ a sprawling stellar empire that spreads across the galaxy. The players control characters struggling to survive in a wondrous melting pot of aliens¸ robots¸ worlds and factions. Thematically¸ Warpstar is a science fiction game of perilous adventure. However¸ Warpstar does not contain lots of explicit setting information¸ so you can use it with your favourite published or home-made adentures and settings. Instead¸ Warpstar aims to give you a simple and concise set of rules that you can shape as you need.

Warpstar uses the same games engine as Warlock!¸ adapted for science fiction gaming.

Note: The book is black and white with a small amount of colour¸ however the premium colour option has been chosen for the print version as it represents a much better quality of paper with an improved look and feel.
