Twilight Sword ist ein Abenteuer-Rollenspiel¸ inspiriert von klassischen Videospielen wie The Legend of Zelda¸ Dragon Quest¸ Wonder Boy in Monster Land¸ Ni No Kuni und den Animationsfilmen von Studio Ghibli. In Twilight Sword schlüpfen die Spieler in die Rolle von Champions¸ die versuchen¸ die Hoffnung nach Radia zurückzubringen. Erst nachdem die Helden die Welt von der Verzweiflung befreit haben¸ erhalten sie Zugang zur Festung des Bösen¸ wo sie sich der Geißel Vardas in einem Kampf stellen können¸ der über das Schicksal Radias entscheiden wird.

Twilight Sword is an adventure role-playing game inspired by classic video-games like The Legend of Zelda¸ Dragon Quest¸ Wonder Boy in Monster Land¸ Ni No Kuni¸ and by the animated movies of Studio Ghibli. In Twilight Sword¸ players take on the role of Champions who try to bring back Hope to the lands of Radia. Only after setting the world free from Despair¸ will the heroes gain access to the Fortress of Evil¸ where they can face the scourge Vardas in a battle that will decide the fate of Radia.
This used to be a beautiful land¸
and for a thousand years we lived

has returned with an army of monsters
and filled the world with ruin and despair.
