And one day¸ it was the end of the world. who knew? one day you wake up and well...you don't wake up. it's over. goodnight gracie. but then¸ what are you still doing here.Back in the eighties they told me we had between forty and fifty years of fossil fuels left in the world. To this kid it meant that 2025 would be a bitch of a year. I remember thinking "I"ll be fifty by then" and that age seemed to far away. By the end of the nineties when I had become a man¸ a husband and a father I realised that no-one was talking about fossil fuels any more. We had other problems by then with global warming¸ ozone holes and killer epidemics. We no longer believed that solar cells and electric cars would save our lifestyle. We just didn"t have any answers and we were ignoring the truth. Things were not going to get better. In facty were getting worse than we knew. Who could have known that the world was ending.
