Von den Machern des Witcher-TTRPGs und Cyberpunk RED kommt Shadow Scar¸ ein Tabletop-Rollenspiel¸ in dem ihr in die Rolle eines Agenten der Shadow Scar Agency schlüpft¸ der führenden und einzigen paramilitärischen Kampftruppe des Multiversums. Die Agenten von Shadow Scar sind Krieger im Schleierkrieg und führen einen verborgenen Krieg gegen Yokai¸ monströse Kreaturen aus japanischen Mythen und Legenden¸ in vier verschiedenen Welten. Durch ihre Missionen gewährleisten die Agenten die Sicherheit ihrer Heimatländer¸ schützen andere Welten vor Korruption und Chaos und helfen¸ das Geheimnis der apokalyptischen Macht namens Yomi zu lüften. Das Mosaiksystem von Shadow Scar ist einfach und leicht zu erlernen. Alle Aktionen werden mit einem Pool von sechsseitigen Würfeln ausgeführt. Würfelt so viele Würfel¸ wie eurem entsprechenden Attribut und eurer Fertigkeit entsprechen¸ und überprüft die Ergebnisse. Jede 4 oder höher ist ein Erfolg¸ während eine 6 als zwei Erfolge zählt. Wenn die Anzahl deiner Erfolge dem Schwierigkeitsgrad (SW) der Aufgabe entspricht oder diesen übersteigt¸ ist die Aufgabe erfolgreich. Andernfalls scheiterst du.
Fokus auf Heimlichkeit
Als in Ninjutsu ausgebildete Agenten ist Heimlichkeit euer größter Verbündeter. Schleicht euch an euren Feinden vorbei und findet Wege¸ ihre besonderen Sinne wie Nachtsicht¸ scharfes Gehör und Bewegungssinn zu kontern. Kommt nah genug heran und nutzt das Attentatssystem¸ um den Feind lautlos auszuschalten. Doch seid stets auf der Hut¸ denn ihr wisst nie¸ wann eure Feinde versuchen könnten¸ euch selbst zu ermorden!

Das Mosaik ist ein riesiges Multiversum mit einer Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Welten. Im gesamten Mosaik findet ihr Welten¸ in denen intelligente Pflanzen die Zivilisation verschlungen haben¸ Welten¸ in denen Menschen Magie nutzen¸ um die Kräfte von Leben und Tod ihrem Willen zu unterwerfen¸ und Dimensionen¸ die wie 16-Bit-Videospiele voller Abenteuer wirken. Agents of Shadow Scar are warriors in the Veil War¸ waging a hidden war against yokai¸ monstrous creatures from Japanese myth and legend¸ across four different worlds. Through their missions¸ Agents ensure the safety of their homelands¸ protect other worlds from corruption and chaos¸ and help uncover the mystery of the apocalyptic force known as Yomi. An Elegant Dice System The Shadow Scar's Mosaic System is designed to be simple and easy to learn¸ with all resolutions utilizing a pool of six-sided dice. Roll dice equal to your appropriate Statistic and Skill and check the values. Every value of 4 or greater is a Success while rolls of 6 are considered 2 Successes. If the number of Successes you get is equal to or greater than the Difficulty Value (DV) of the task¸ you succeed. Otherwise¸ you fail at your task. A Focus On Stealth As Agents trained in ninjutsu¸ stealth is your greatest ally. Sneak past your enemies and find ways to counteract special senses like night vision¸ keen hearing¸ and motion sense. Get close enough and utilize the Assassination System to silently eliminate the enemy¸ but keep your eyes peeled as you never know when your foes might try to assassinate you themselves! A Multiverse Of Adventure The Mosaic is a vast multiverse with a wide variety of different worlds. Across the Mosaic you can find worlds where sapient plants have consumed civilization¸ worlds where people use magic to bend the forces of life and death to their will¸ and dimensions that appear to be 16 bit videogames of high adventure. Among these worlds are the four realms where the Veil War is being fought. It's up to you to take the fight to the Yokai and save humanity from the abyss.
