Zu den Agenten gehören neben Menschen auch verschiedene andere Rassen: Burners¸ Changelings¸ Lochs (Fischmenschen)¸ Spectrals¸ Taylari (Vampire) und Wolfsmenschen. Das Spiel verwendet sein eigenes System¸ das Dynamic Gaming System (DGS). Die Kernmechanik besteht aus 1W20 + Attribut + Fertigkeit gegen eine Zielzahl von 10¸ 20¸ 30 oder 40. Die Charaktererschaffung erfolgt durch die Wahl einer Rasse und einer Leidenschaft (die Erfahrungsboni gewährt) sowie durch ein begrenztes Punktesystem für Attribute und Fertigkeiten. Zusätzlich gibt es Bonuspunkte für Gaben und möglicherweise weitere durch das In Kauf von Nachteilen. Die Regeln beinhalten ein Magiesystem¸ das in 18 Pfade (Arten) und 3 Kreise (Machtstufen) unterteilt ist. The player characters are agents of an organization (Apocalypse Prevention¸ Inc.) that monitors them and arrests those that break the law. Agents include various other races as well as human: Burners¸ Changelings¸ Lochs (fish people)¸ Spectrals¸ Taylari (vampires)¸ and Wolf People. The game uses its own system¸ the Dynamic Gaming System (DGS). The core mechanic is 1d20 + Attribute + Skill vs. a Target Number of 10¸ 20¸ 30¸ or 40. Character creation is by picking race as well as passion (which provide experience bonuses)¸ limited point-buy of attributes and skills¸ along with bonus points usable for Gifts¸ and possibly more from taking Drawbacks. The rules include a magic system divided into 18 Paths (types) and 3 Circles (power levels).
