This roleplaying game contains everything you need to get started quickly¸ including easy to run combat mechanics; star¸ world¸ and civiliation generation; starship construction and combat; information on robots and androids; catalog of worlds in known space; and an introductory adventure.

I don't remember seeing this title back in the day¸ but upon finding a copy years later¸ I fell in love with the alien species and concept. The old school¸ percentage-based rules make gameplay pretty easy. The world¸ civilization¸ and starship creation rules are not overly complicated¸ yet technical enough to add a little flavor. The adventure in the back is perfect for getting a group together and keeping them together at the end for future stories. To me¸ it's just the right amount of detail to remember important info. I would call it the midway point between HardNova 2 and Shatterzone.
