The Opacus Cactus Rally was advertised as a test of innovation and skill for the automotively minded members of the Society of Ether. It was to be an opportunity to push their fringe Science to the limit among peers and enjoy the thrill of competition. It was never meant to be safe¸ but no one expected it to be attacked.
In the aftermath of scorching fire and twisted metal the surviving racers want answers. Why was the race attacked? Was it a Nephandic plot¸ or an act of madness? Did they act alone? To get those answers doctor Minerva Featherstone will cross lines of trust and suspicion to engage with the Technocratic enemy for information.
