Located on the Little Belt strait between Funen and Jutland¸ Middelfart is a growing and prosperous town. But an ill wind blows in across the Belt and a miasma hangs over the city. Prince Fjarting of Clan Nosferatu¸ in life a bastard son of Eystein the Fart of Norway¸ struggles to maintain control.

However¸ the foul back alleys of Middelfart are stalked by an unseen Assamite¸ silent¸ but deadly.

And in the Porpoise Tavern¸ the local priest stuffs himself with pets-de-nonne¸ as he plans his next move against the city's Cainites.
