Thought of as the lowest of the low¸ the Bone Gnawers were originally garou rejected from other tribes. Coming together in solidarity¸ these underdogs have embraced the insulting name thrown at their feet by the alphas of old. Community-oriented free thinkers¸ this tribe took it upon themselves to wander the cities of man¸ and to safeguard them against the harm and corruption that so often springs up from their centers.
Descended from those outcasts¸ Bone Gnawers know what it is to be alone and unwanted. They are not powerless¸ though¸ and they often take in those who have nowhere else to go. This community¸ and willingness to embrace those deemed unworthy by others¸ are traits shared by their kin. Those kin come from all the hard walks of life. From menial laborers to wounded veterans¸ and from reclusive hill folk to highway hitch hikers¸ Bone Gnawer kin are everywhere. And while the high tribes may not think much of them¸ no one denies the usefulness of having so many eyes on the streets¸ nor that one of rat's children will fight like a devil when they and theirs are threatened.
