The timber industry in The Forgotten Realms is one of its most lucrative¸ and no wood is more sought after than the mysterious Weirwood. When rumours of the rare wood's existence in High Forest reached the ears of the lumber barons of Waterdeep¸ preparations to establish a new lumber village along the great forest's eastern edge were drawn and executed hastily and the first convoy of settlers have been sent on their way to the proposed site.
