TURNING POINT: Death Wish at Ankara 1921



TURNING POINT covers the epic last battle of the Greek Army in 1921 to conquer Turkey by seizing its new capital¸ Ankara. The Summer of 1921 saw the Greek Army rip apart the Turkish forces in battle after battle. But its advance across the barren and dry deserts to its final destination- the road to Ankara ahd taken its toll. The Greek supplyline was very long while the Turks were pulling back into the hills for their last defense that was in doubt. The battle for the Greeks was uphill some of the time until culminating at Cal Dagi. For both sides¸ it would be a turning point to whomever was the victor!
Game scale is 1 mile hexes with mostly battlions and one day turns¸ 280 counters¸ one 11x17" map.
