PUTIN'S POCKET covers the heroic and epic battle in the Debaltseve area in Feb. 2015¸ where despite all odds¸ the heroic Ukrainian army first showed it could stand up to Russia. Surrounded at first and then cutoff by Russian and pro-Russian forces¸ the Ukrainians repulsed and counterattacked until it was no longer feasible.
