Protest League. Pikemen 1600-1650.
The Protest League is a union of the three fictional northern states of Europe¸ which support the Protestants in the war of 1618-1648. The appearance of the soldiers corresponds to the fashion and style of their era. All fictional elements are sustained in the logic and style of their era. The album contains sheets with universal rank-and-file fighters and separate sheets with officers of all three game fractions. You can print the required number of soldiers and officers separately. Large detachments of infantry with long peaks in their hands turned out to be the force that defeated the knightly cavalry of the Middle Ages. In the 17th century¸ the role of firearms increased many times and the number of Pikemen in the armies usually amounted to 1/3 or 1/2 of the entire infantry. Scottish mercenaries served in the Swedish army of Gustav Adolf for a very long time¸ so we included a list of Scottish pikemen in the service of the Protestants. The album contains 6 color sheets for self-printing and making game figures. Stands and bases are not included in the album and are made by the players themselves in accordance with the requirements of the selected rules of the game.
