Protest League. Musketeers (dragoons) 1600-1650.
The Protest League is a union of three fictional states of Northern Europe that decided to support the Protestants in the war of 1618-1648. The appearance of the soldiers corresponds to the fashion and style of their era. All fictional elements are sustained in the logic and style of their era. The album contains sheets with universal rank-and-file fighters and separate sheets with officers of all three game fractions. You can print the required number of soldiers and officers separately. The arquebus of 16c became heavier¸ the complex wheel lock gave way to a simple and reliable wick lock¸ the bullet became larger¸ the shot became more powerful. This made the ranks of the musketeers a serious force¸ rather than light skirmishers. The number of musketeers in the armies grew smoothly throughout the 17th century¸ during the war of 1618-1648 it could reach 2/3 of the infantry. The dragoons of the mid-17th century were real infantry mounted on horses to quickly move around the battlefield. Dragoons fought like real musketeers. Therefore¸ we have drawn dragoon horses as markers of your dragoon squads - form squadrons of dragoons from musketeers and supply them with these markers. The album contains 6 color sheets for self-printing and making game figures. Stands and bases are not included in the album and are made by the players themselves in accordance with the requirements of the selected rules of the game.
