H27X: Hungarian Proposed Infantry Division¸ Hungary¸ 1949-1956
In 1949 the Hungarian army was reformed from it's WW2 left-over border guard units¸ and a huge army of 21 infantry divisions was proposed. Each of 25¸000 men¸ they were far too large and exceeded the carrying capacity of the nation. Useful for a what-if snapshot of military thinking at the time.
