ECW Protest League. Cavalry 1640-1660
The Protest League is a union of three fictitious states that support Parliament in its fight against the King in the war of 1642-1651. The appearance of the soldiers corresponds to the fashion and style of their era. All fictional elements are sustained in the logic and style of their era. The album contains sheets with universal rank-and-file fighters and separate sheets with officers of all three game fractions. You can print the required number of soldiers and officers separately. By the middle of the century¸ the cavalry armor on the Islands had acquired its own special form - a cuirass¸ a helmet and a special plate glove on his left hand. The Cavalry of Parmlament¸ reformed by Cromwell¸ became the core of the army. Tough discipline and new career prospects for talented commanders made the "iron-sided" the best soldiers in the army. Cromwell's cavalrymen attacked at a slow trot to maintain order¸ moving to a gallop just before the strike. A significant part of the cavalry was armed with arquebuses and fired from a place. The appearance of the soldiers on both sides of the conflict was so similar that the soldiers were forced to improvise and decorate themselves with colored ribbons in order to distinguish between themselves and strangers. So that players can easily recognize the sides of the conflict¸ we color the Royalists' background in sand color¸ and the Parliamentarians in smoky gray. The album contains 8 color sheets for self-printing and making game figures. Stands and bases are not included in the album and are made by the players themselves in accordance with the requirements of the selected rules of the game.
