ECW Loyal Alliance. Musketeers (dragoons) 1640-1660.
The Loyal Alliance is a union of three fictitious states that decided to support the King's cause in the Civil War 1642-1651. The appearance of the soldiers corresponds to the fashion and style of their era. All fictional elements are sustained in the logic and style of their era. The album contains sheets with universal rank-and-file fighters and separate sheets with officers of all three game fractions. You can print the required number of soldiers and officers separately. By the middle of the 17th century¸ muskets became lighter¸ so the musketeers began to refuse to use furquets (props). The first paper cartridges appeared¸ prepared in advance and carried in bags. The first attempts to dress a soldier in a regulated military uniform appear. "Red coats" were not unique to the army of Parliament¸ but became the hallmark of the English army. Dragoons are still infantry mounted on horses. But during the Civil War¸ dragoons first attacked on horseback! Use horse marker shapes to designate Dragoon units assembled from musketeers. The appearance of the soldiers on both sides of the conflict was so similar that the soldiers were forced to improvise and decorate themselves with colored ribbons in order to distinguish between themselves and strangers. So that players can easily recognize the sides of the conflict¸ we color the Royalists' background in sand color¸ and the Parliamentarians in smoky gray. The album contains 6 color sheets for self-printing and making game figures. Stands and bases are not included in the album and are made by the players themselves in accordance with the requirements of the selected rules of the game.
