Die Angelschlacht: Vital Ground Normandy June 7¸ 1944



Die Angelschlacht (pivotable battle) covers the only counterattack from the German on June 7th¸ 1944 from the 25th SS PanzerGrendiers as the Canadians spearhead was moving deep inland. The battle was monumental in that it utterly shocked the allied forces. So much so¸ it delayed further advances for a month in the sector! The game is a tactical level game at company level with AFVs and others having ranged fire based upon fire capabilities. It nearly was published by ATO magazine.
Game scale is 250 yds.hex¸ 30 min. turns. One 11x17" map and 280 counters.
