A Kingdom is yours for the taking! But first… Your charge has halted and your men are close to panic! Your front rank has taken casualties¸ and refuses to move forward. Crossbow bolts fly past you¸ only to strike down a soldier behind you. Your men remain in place¸ but for how long? You throw off your helmet and raising your sword you shout - "For King and Country!" You charge forward and your men follow…this time. It isn't easy for a Captain that would be King. Captains and Kings is Warband combat in the High Medieval Ages. You start in command of one unit but if you succeed in battle¸ raise your Social Standing and gather more men¸ you can rise from Captain to King. Fourteen different armies covering the 9th to 13th Centuries¸ from Viking Raiders to Crusading Knights. Rules for three complete Campaigns to tie your battles together. Complete Siege rules.
