Blitzkrieg Battlegame: Defending the Ypres-Comines Canal



A scenario for France 27th May 1940. With three German infantry Divisions poised to cut the BEF's corridor to Dunkirk¸ only three brigades stood in their way along the line of the mostly dried-up Ypres-Comines Canal. This scenario depicts the northern sector and the sacrifice of 17th Brigade from 5th Infantry Division in attempting to block the advance of the Wehrmacht's 18th Infantry Division.
