Velvet Generation: Demo Tapes



Note: this is a playtest/preview for Velvet Generation¸ which is set for an upcoming release. The text here is playable¸ but not the full game¸ and has been only lightly edited. The Starchildren came to Earth on a pilgrimage to find the home planet of rock & roll. But they're a century too late. In 2071¸ rock music and free expression are outlawed by the fascist Ministry of Music. Stranded¸ the Starchildren join forces with the underground music movement here to create a revolution that will rock the world free. Sound-check the in-house rules engine for the game with the premiere of our in-house rules engine¸ designed to keep your bandmates riffing off of one another onstage and off. There's so much more to come¸ so enjoy this early-access pass to Velvet Generation! This preview will be made available for free to anyone who backed the Kickstarter campaign and will be receiving a book as a reward¸ as well as to anyone who signs up for join the open playtest.
