The Unicorn: A Creature for Vaesen



Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee¸ or abide by thy crib? Canst thou
bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? Or will he harrow the valleys
after thee?
The unicorn is a vaesen both wondrous and rare¸ whose existence has been known about since the dawn of civilisation in the Indus Valley. These wondrous creatures are more likely to reveal themselves to humans than any other vaesen¸ perhaps because of their innate trust of the innocent. This same trust has led to the unicorn becoming a symbol of purity¸ rarity¸ grace¸ and chivalry.
