Fraught Fellowships¸ Vol. 1: Sub Rosa (for Vaesen)

In this exciting new series from Melpomene Games (authors of two Vaesen Mysteries¸ 'The Gold in the Green' and 'The Double')¸ new factions for the world of Vaesen are introduced. Each volume of Fraught Fellowships focuses on a unique type of faction¸ presents details on each¸ along with example NPCs¸ new mechanics¸ and story seeds. A new mechanic called Favor is used to provide a currency for interacting with these factions.
The first volume¸ Sub Rosa¸ focuses on 'dark' groups beyond the Rosenbergers. Each faction is designed to bring Dark Secrets and Traumas more into your campaign¸ with four factions to target each of the main categories of Dark Secrets¸ a Favor system that rewards engagement with each¸ new Talents for players¸ and two story seeds (mini adventures).

The Whispering Brook: an agency of spies and blackmailers who use information to entrap¸ coax¸ and gradually dominate the Mythic North.
Muninn's Flock: an organization empowered to remove people's memories¸ who work to eliminate the world's knowledge that Vaesen exist - and perhaps eliminate investigators' memories of their dark pasts¸ along the way.
The Circle of Loki: a cult who wish to re-engineer humans so that Vaesen become incorporated into themselves¸ often leading to disaster and heartbreak.
Dahlgren's Fraternity: a group of corrupt psychiatrists and other medical doctors who offer powerful cures extracted from the bodies of enslaved or killed Vaesen.
