This is a "special" issue where most of the contents don't actually come from the original Funny Picture Stories ¸ but its sister titles¸ Detective Picture Stories ¸ Western Picture Stories ¸ Funny Pages ¸ and Keen Detective Funnies ! Read the best of the best from 1937 and 1938 from Centaur Comics! Like every book from Great Scott! Press¸ this comes with the Scott Casper Guarantee. The Scott Casper Guarantee is: -Not all scans will be great¸ but they will all be "good enough" -- legible¸ not too blurry¸ not too faded (and if it was¸ I'll try to touch it up!) -The art will be at least competently rendered; no rush jobs will be included (unless I can fix 'em!) -The stories will all be "good¸" in that they tell a complete story (or move a story forward¸ if serialized)¸ have one or more interesting characters¸ have a strong sense of place¸ and successfully capture the feel of the genre they were aimed for.
