Issue 24 (Volume 1) Albert and Wayne are accidentally attacked by a group of townspeople thinking them zombies. Kirk leaves the airplane he was in for a small city which was once a zombie battleground and is surprised by an escaped convict¸ Clarence. King Zombie takes his army of zombies by train to head up north where he thinks the Gate-opener is. Albert is brought into the camp where John and Stacey are. They find out that a group of humans have taken over the town of Wolverine they have to go through and know that those humans will attack them for their supplies¸ horses¸ guns…and women. They have to find a way around the town.
