After a gamma ray burst passes within light-years of earth ordinary people begin to spontaneously develop superhuman abilities. Many teens who develop these abilities choose to emulate the comic book superheroes that they've grown up with and become self styled vigilantes. But the cold hard reality is that most of these kids wind up dead. In this issue we follow six teenagers on their journey to becoming superheroes. Do any of them stand a chance of surviving? Or will they all wind up on a slab?
