Under the Heel of the Forgemaster



This adventure brings three to six player characters together to deliver crucial military assistance to a beleaguered leader of the proud people of Everlund in their defense against an unprovoked assault from the East. It was designed to be played in one or two sessions.
This adventure was developed by a new Dungeon Master for middle schoolers new to Dungeons & Dragons. Because developing encounters appropriate for the party is one of the more difficult tasks - a talent that develops with experience - this adventure relies on the guidance provided in the source books. Therefore¸ for the purposes of experimenting and testing the tools provided to new Dungeon Masters¸ the encounters were designed based on the literal application of encounter-building and monster-creating formulas in the Dungeon Master's Guide and Xanathar's Guide to Everything.
