Welcome to the first Wizards Council adventure. In our podcast we shared what we've learned while playing and running D&D¸ and other RPGs¸ for three collective decades.
Here¸ we've put those lessons into practice and bring you this adventure as the start of many yet to come. In this desert spanning adventure you'll find nods to classic pulp themes¸ movies¸ and tropes that have inspired us over the years.
So¸ if your players are fans of adventures and stories like Indiana Jones¸ Uncharted¸ Eldritch Horror and the Mummy¸ they'll enjoy what's in store for them during this adventure.

This adventure is designed for a party of 4-5 3rd level characters and is designed to be a pulp action adventure story with cosmic horror flavorings. The characters will start off in the oasis town of Ja'hara¸ a small trading post in the middle of a desert known as the Golden Sea¸ but soon they are off to rescue a missing member of the local temple. After braving the dangers of the desert¸ the party comes across the Pyramid of the Fallen Light¸ a half buried shrine to the Pharaoh Qelhatat Shams Al'Sahra. Unfortunately a cult dedicated to the Elder Evil Borem of the Lake of Boiling Mud has taken up residency in the Pyramid. The party will have to find their way inside to get the answers they want....
