There is but one truth in this world. Those in possession of great wealth are often those most undeserving of it.

The town of Riparian straddles the Tidewater River ¸ a causeway for substantial trade in the region. Each day¸ a significant amount of merchandise changes hands in the town. Naturally¸ the presence of so much wealth attracts a more nefarious element as well.
Assorted thief clans have recently banded together under the banner of Traavok Rold and are intercepting wagons on the roads to the city. Bent on causing further disruption in the town¸ the thieves have kidnapped Ismania Stormchaser ¸ mayor of Brendle Hill. This absence has resulted in significant unease among the population.
Dasrya Gorre is Brendle Hill's Minister of Commerce and responsible for maintaining fruitful trade in town. Dasrya wants to get this situation under control quickly and is offering a reward to whomever returns Ismania Stormchaser and brings Traavok Rold to justice.
This adventure is perfect as a side-quest for a larger campaign. It is designed for four 5th-level characters.
