The Tombs of the Eternal Lancers

Several of the legendary tales out of the Greater Tres Empire period speak of a company of unrivaled lancers known as the 'Thunder-Hoof Riders'¸ who fought in many battles under various banners. Their exploits are recorded in various tales and nursery rhymes that continue to be told to this day. Charge of the Unsaran¸ The Twelve Hills¸ and Ballad of Janradiir¸ to name a few. As with some victories¸ they can come at a great cost. In the Charge of Unsaran¸ a battle that led to the withdrawal of an invading goblin army¸ five champions fell. A tomb was constructed in secret somewhere in the Restorae Steppe with a belief that one day they will be recalled from beyond the grave if the goblin hordes were ever to return.
The Tombs of the Eternal Lancers is a Q-Crawl¸ or Quick-Crawl¸ that can be run for a group of four to six players with 10th-level characters. This crawl would be considered a 'medium' to 'hard' encounter.
Q-Crawls are designed to drop into your game where needed. They are meant to add flavor to a campaign¸ giving a little depth to a combat encounter.
